From October 12 to 15, 2011 in the Crocus Expo Exhibition Center, Moscow, as part of the Furniture Club exhibition, Tatyana Nikitina Art Holding Gallery, together with Lezertach, presented the Art for Life project, which is also a new interpretation classics of the avant-garde and a reflection of the latest trends in the interaction of art and design.
Throughout the twentieth century, the harmony of strict lines and local colors inspired designers and artists again and again to perform creative experiments dedicated to the Dutch artist Pete Mondrian, one of the fathers of abstract art. Yves Saint Laurent transfers Mondrian's rectangular ornament to his dresses, while Jaurez Machado fills the Mondrian net with the passion of jazz dance.
We propose to consider another facet of the embodiment of the creative energy of this artist. Thanks to high-quality printing on furniture fabric, the picture begins to exist in three-dimensional space. Shelving, sofa, table - everything takes on a new level of content, becoming essentially an art object, an art in the space of real life.
The interior of the “Freylinsky Garden” by the famous designer-fashion designer Tatyana Parfyonova expressed a completely different mood. Elegant embroidery, light flirty baroque lace, and delicate overflows of color. Silk painting on a velvety surface. A work of art designed to simultaneously serve and delight people.
