Гендельман Ирэна

Irene Gendelman was born in 1964 in Crimea (USSR). She improved her talent in educational institutions during numerous travels. Since youth Irena was interested in a landscape genre. At the beginning it were streets of ancient cities in Crimea and the Black Sea landscapes, and after moving to Israel Jerusalem became a subject of her attachment.

Irene Gendelman is an active participant of art exhibitions in Israel and other countries. Her works are kept in private collections worldwide.

Irene Gendelman’s paintings are filled with poetry and golden light. They remind medieval stained-glass windows because if their light saturation. The artist’s favourite subject is Jerusalem. Landscapes written with unusual tenderness and trembling love to the spirit of the ancient city are warmed by the reverential feeling.
