Pavlov Mstislav

Born in 1967 in Leningrad (now – St. Petersburg). Graduated from Repin’s Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture (1997). Member of the Artists' Union of Russia (2002). From 1994 Pavlov is a participant of numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

Mstislav Pavlov is an artist who sings the woman’s beauty. Ballerinas, bathers, actresses – all its images are full of sensuality and a riddle. Trying to obtain the greatest expressiveness, the artist gives preference to dense pastose painting in an easy impressionist manner. Mstislav Pavlov seeks to express to the canvas the escaping image of his ideal – and perfect women are appearing in his works again and again.
