We present the project of the exposition of the works of the legendary representative of St. Petersburg neo-academism Bella Matveeva called "Wave Genetics", prepared by our gallery for the international contemporary art fair COSMOSCOW 2022.
Karafelov Boris
Was born in 1946 near Tashkent. In 1969 graduated from Simferopol school of art. Worked as an art director in Taganka Theatre (Moscow), Merlin theatre (Budapest), etc. In 1990 moved to Israel. A member of the International art association (UNESCO). His works are kept in museums and private collections of many countries, including – the The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Oriental Museum (Moscow), the Slovak National Museum (Bratislava).
Boris Karafelov's works dialogue with impressionist paintings: it seems that images are weaved from splitting-up solar specks represent a human in unity with all the Universe. Exotic and orientally bright paintings by Karafelov are filled with cheerful mood and love to the world.
