We present the project of the exposition of the works of the legendary representative of St. Petersburg neo-academism Bella Matveeva called "Wave Genetics", prepared by our gallery for the international contemporary art fair COSMOSCOW 2022.
Pao Seong
Seong Pao was born in 1949 in Surabaya (Indonesia). He was one of six children in the family. In 1967 and 1968 he studied at Chankh's Institute. Subsequently he studied within three years under the leadership of Mr. Vinga on Bali. The first personal Seong Pao exhibitions took place in the museum on Bali and in Sanur. In 1979 the large-scale exhibition was open in the cultural hall in Jakarta.
The artist admits that the human faces and beauty of the of Bali Island are the main sources of inspiration for him. Also, quite often an eastern motives are traced in his painting. The bright, fractional manner of performance reminds of a bright sun and exotic color of serene island life.
