“Art Holding” conceived an ambitious project - to exhibit modern painting and graphics by Vasily Kafanov, along with ancient fossils, whose age exceeds millions, tens of millions of years. Art and paleontology turned out to be unexpectedly close, not only figuratively - the mood of secrecy that they evoke was common. Following the path of pursuit of this mystery, we will not strictly separate the two expositions, leaving art and science to interact freely, sharing meanings with each other.
Art allows you to break beyond the boundaries of familiar experience. And science helps to find evidence and realize something beyond the limits of routine. There are people who easily and even blithely open the veil of secrecy; they simply put us before the fact of the existence of unprecedented things. And it turns out that the world of magical fantasies can be embodied on paper, and the thickness of the earth hides the evidence of life of the unimaginably distant neighbors on planet Earth.
